On 21 September 2022, Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas paid a courtesy visit on Mr. Pervaiz Elahi, Chief Minister of Punjab, with whom they reviewed the current issues of the bilateral relations, particularly the economic and trade cooperation focused on the province of Punjab. The Hungarian Head of Mission informed the Chief Minister that Hungary had decided to send an aid shipment to help the Pakistani flood affectees which is due to arrive in the coming days.
