On 25 August 2021, Chargé d’affaires Mr. Tivadar Takács – accompanied by Commercial Counsellor Dr. István Grafjódi – met with Mr. Syed Fakhar Imam, Minister of Food Security and Research of Pakistan, who was received the invitation letter for the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo and Summit (https://planetbudapest.hu/en).
The main topic of the meeting was the use of the USD 50 million offered by Hungary in the framework of the tied aid credit facility in the field of the Pakistani food processing, which is in line with Pakistan’s aim to increase its food exports.
