On 27 April 2019, the Hungarian Embassy in Islamabad participated at the charity bazaar organized by the Islamabad Foreign Women Association (IFWA). The event took place at Serena Hotel in Islamabad.
The Hungarian stand offered Goulash Soup, pancake and other foods related to Hungary, and it collected - in addition to the participation fee - nearly 20 thousand Pakistani rupees (approx. 40 thousand HUF) for the Pehli Kiran School for disadvantaged young people and the Care for Special Persons Foundation, which is an institution for people with special needs.
The Hungarian stand operated by the staff of the Embassy was very popular among the more than 100 stand of the bazaar. The event provided an excellent opportunity to increase Hungary's visibility in Pakistan and to strengthen the image of our country.
