Discussion with the Secretary of Tourism and Archaeology of Punjab

As the follow-up of the restoration of the Ágoston Schöfft paintings in the Sikh Gallery of the Lahor Fort, Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas met with Ehsan Bhutta, Secretary of Tourism and Archaeology of Punjab.

The Hungarian Head of Mission handed over the more than 900-page documentation prepared on the restoration process of the paintings, and informed his partner about the Embassy's plans for the development of the Sikh Gallery. The Ambassador spoke about  further cultural projects planned by the Hungarian mission, and draw the attention of the Secretary to the archaeology faculties of Hungarian universities ready to accept Pakistani students, too.
