On 28 March 28 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and the Pakistani Ministry of Economy held their second Joint Economic Committee (JEC) meeting (on-line) with the assistance of the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad.
Mr. István Joó Deputy State Secretary for Export Development and co-chair of the JEC said that the Hungarian investment in Pakistan and bilateral economic relations needed to be further strengthened, as the South Asian country offers huge opportunities for Hungarian agro-industrial, water, pharmaceutical and IT companies.
