In October 2018, the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad has started selective waste collection and the results so far: 8 trees, 12000 liters water, 1,8 MW of energy have been saved so far.

The Hungarian Embassy gives utmost importance to the environmentally conscious behaviour and committed to protecting and conserving nature. Tackling the challenges of the climate change and preserving the water resources is a priority for the Government of Hungary. Therefore, Hungary hosted the third Budapest Water Summit in October 2019, under the patronage of Mr. János Áder, President of the Republic of Hungary.
