In the framework of our national day reception on 15 March, 2018, the Hungarian Embassy organized a Hungarian-Pakistani photo exhibition and presented the „Reflection of Reality” publication, which consisted the pictures of the exhibited photos. The publication focused on the water and its foreword was written by H.E. Mr. János Áder, Hungary’s President of Republic.
In his speech, Ambassador István Szabó talked about the importance of the Hungary’s Revolution and War of Independence of 1848/49, and the role of the exhibition in the bilateral cultural relation. He briefly spoke about the circumstances of the exhibition’s organizing process, and the significance of preserving and defending the environment and drinking water treasure.
The approx. 150 guests liked and appreciated the 10-10 large sized pictures, which were taken by Mr. Gergely Szatmári and Mr. Zulfikar Ali photographers whose aim was to present the wetlands and other natural reserved of the two countries. The event reached its goal and successfully brought the guests’ attention to one of Hungary’s most valuable natural treasure, the water.
