On 19 December 2020, Dr. István Grafjódi, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad met with the prominent members of the Pakistani alumni students, who graduated in Hungarian universities. During the meeting they discussed the questions of establishing the Pakistani ALUMNI organization.
The future leaders of the ALUMNI said that their knowledge and experience gained in Hungary had greatly helped them to enter the Pakistani labour market, and thankfully to their international degree, they were able to quickly find a job suitable for their learned profession.
They welcomed the initiative of Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas to have the official founding event of the ALUMNI in conjunction with a Hungarian national day. They emphasized the importance of the ALUMNI’s role in facilitating the contacts and exchanges of experience between the Pakistani students graduated in Hungary, and in strengthening the ties between Hungary and Pakistan.
