On 17 October 2020, Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas and the colleagues of the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad visited the Maskan girl orphanage in Swat Valley, which has been supported by the Hungarian mission for years. With school starting, the members of the Embassy surprised the 36 children with school equipment and sweets, who are being raised and educated in the institute.
Mr. Béla Fazekas discussed the details of the orphanage's operation with Mr. Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb, whose family has been providing home for the girls for decades. The Head of Mission congratulated him for his selfless work of raising generations of orphaned children in the institute. The Hungarian Ambassador assured Mr. Aurangzeb of further Hungarian support for the institution in the future.
