In the summer of 2017, Ambassador István Szabó’s wife hosted a charity event at the Ambassador's residence. The aim of the occasion was to raise money for the MASKAN Institute in Saidu Sharif, where the orphanage gives home to 4-18 years old girls. From the money raised, a completely new, well-equipped kitchen was built for the orphanage, which solemn opening ceremony took place on 1 October 2018.

The Hungarian ambassador and his wife attended the event, and Head Consul Mrs. Emília Szabó praised the magnanimous efforts of Prince Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb and his family for operating the orphanage, which had made possible the upbringing and education for generations of orphaned children between the walls of the building.

Mr. István Szabó and his wife handed over the new part of the building, and they gave gifts and sweets for more than 40 girls in the orphanage. Beside the kitchen, an “Emília’s kitchen” plaque announces the success of the Hungarian charity event, furthermore the flag of Hungary and Pakistan was also permanently put in the courtyard of the building.
