On 10 March 2019, the Pakistani government launched its Pedal for Health initiative. The opening event took place in Islamabad and it was inaugurated by Aamir Mehmood Kiani Federal Minister for National Health Services.
Ambassador István Szabó and his wife Emília Szabó also rode bicycle and planted a tree at the inaugural ceremony of the campaign, which aimed to promote a healthy and sporty lifestyle, in order to reduce – inter alia – the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.
