On 23 October, 2017, the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad held a National Day Reception, which was sponsored by MOL Pakistan. Ambassador István Szabó highlighted in his speech the historic significance of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight. Regarding the bilateral ties between Hungary and Pakistan, the Hungarian Ambassador emphasized the importance of the MOL Pakistan, which has contributed significantly to Pakistan’s economy.
At the margins of the event, which was hosting around 400 people, an exhibition titled „Made in Hungary” was also organized, where inventions from Hungary were on display.
