On 27 May 2019, Ambassador Mr. István Szabó met with Additional Secretary Mr. Ameer Khurram Rathore in order to discuss the most important common matters and projects.
The Ambassador highlighted the importance of signing the bilateral investment treaty, which would significantly facilitate the investments of Hungarian companies in Pakistan. Mr. István Szabó drew his partner attention to the opening session of the Joint Economic Commission to be held in Budapest in September 2019. He also informed the Additional Secretary about the conferences in Hungary, which are planned for this autumn (ITU Telecom World Conference, Budapest Water Summit, World Science Forum).
Mr. Ameer Khurram Rathore expressed his happiness that so many Hungarian-Pakistani agreements and projects were in progress and promised to expedite the process of their signature.
