On 18 November 2020, Ambassador Mr. Béla Fazekas met with Dr. Tariq Banuri, Chairperson of the Pakistani Higher Education Commission (HEC). During their meeting they discussed the opportunities of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program, which is offered by the Hungarian government.
The Hungarian Head of Mission confirmed that the Hungarian government intends to continue the program, which is a focus area of the bilateral cooperation and shows Hungary’s long-term commitment to Pakistan. In order to maintain the established relations, the Embassy gives utmost importance to develop the Alumni network of the Pakistani students, who graduated in Hungary.
