On the initiative and with the assistance of the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad, the Architects Regional Council of Asia (ARCASIA) and the Visegrad Four Architectural Foundation (V4AF) contacted each other in 2017. In April 2018, the two organizations signed a cooperation agreement on the modern utilization of royal castles and monuments.

As the next milestone of the cooperation between V4AF and ARCASIA, Mr. Ernő Kálmán, President of Advisory Board V4AF led a delegation of Hungarian, Czech, Slovakian, Turkish and Japanese architects to Pakistan in order to participate in a professional study tour, which was organized by ARCASIA President Mr. Jahangir Sherpao between 24-26 October, 2018.

The Pakistan-Hungary Friendship Association (PHFA) organized a meeting for the delegation, after which Ambassador István Szabó also held a reception at the residence in honor of the group. In his speeches, the Hungarian Ambassador expressed his delight that the V4 countries (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia) had strengthen their cooperation with the Asian architects, and drew the participants' attention to Pakistan's architectural riches.
