Commemoration on the occasion of the anniversary of the Hungarian 1848 Revolution and War of Independence

The Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad hold a commemoration on the occasion of the 1848 Revolution and War of Independence, which took place at the Ambassador’s residence. Besides the Hungarians living in Pakistan, the smaller circle of the Embassy’s connections, the Pakistani-Hungarian Friendship Association and Pakistani graduates from Hungarian universities attend the event.

At the beginning of the national day, the Embassy showed the message of Mr. Péter Sziijártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Afterwards Ambassador Mr. István Szabó recalled the important momentums of the War of Independence. The screening of the great battles of the Revolution made the Ambassador’s speech even more perceptible to the audience.
