On 15 December 2020, Dr. István Balla, Deputy Director General of the Hungarian National Center for Agricultural Research and Innovation (NAIK) and Dr. Muhammad Azeem Khan, President of the Agricultural Research Council of Pakistan (PARC) signed a scientific Cooperation Agreement (Memorandum of Understanding) during an on-line meeting.
In the framework of the MoU the two institutions will cooperate in research on agricultural, forestry, animal husbandry, fishing and poultry farming methods as well as in development of modern agricultural water management techniques.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized that Hungarian-Pakistani cooperation could contribute to the development of sustainable agricultural production methods.
