On 6 February 2019, Ambassador István Szabó met with the delegation of the Laurel Ltd., which was led by CEO Mr. István Bessenyei. The representatives of the company had negotiations in Islamabad and Lahore.
The CEO of the Hungarian company, which develops – inter alia – retail systems, spoke about their plans in Pakistan and informed the Ambassador, that they had been looking for local partners in order to realize them. They would like not only to sell their products, but also contribute to the development of the Pakistani economy with knowledge and technology transfer.
Ambassador István Szabó said that the implementation of the developments offered by the company is among the priorities of the new Pakistani government, thus there is an excellent opportunity to enter to the local market and the Embassy will give all its support to the company.
