On 17 August, 2018, the Pakistani Higher Education Commission (HEC) organized a farewell ceremony for the Pakistani Stipendium Hungaricum state scholarship students, who will start their studies in different higher education institutions of Hungary in September.
From the Pakistani side Dr. Tariq Banuri, President of the Higher Education Commission gave speech and he emphasized for the students, that they will also represent their country during their studies in Hungary. From the Embassy of Hungary in Islamabad Mr. Sándor Mihálkó Counsellor and Mr. Tivadar Takács Deputy Head of Mission attended the event, furthermore Mr. András Mádi, Deputy Managing Director of the MOL Plc.’s subsidiary in Islamabad was also present at the ceremony.
Mr. Sándor Mihálkó underlined in his speech that Hungary gives utmost importance to the educational and scientific cooperation with Pakistan, and this proves that Hungary is willing to build long-term bilateral relations between the two county.
